February, love is everywhere. As usual, Jogja English held English Performance Show (EPS) to celebrate the joy of love on Monday, February 16th 2015 at 18.30 p.m. The theme of the EPS was “How Deep Is Your Love?' with Musical drama competition as the main event of the EPS and writing a love letter as the pre-event of the EPS. There were seven performers from different classes. They were three performances from AP+ classes, a performance from TOEFL Preparation class, and three performances from English Homes.

Love letters that we had written were collected in a inevitably cute love box before finally on the due date JE's team read and decided for the best two. I believed that all of us never expected to win; we just did our best to have fun.

In the main event of EPS, Mr. Fahri and Ms. Anggit led the event as the MC. They opened that night with a fun game. That night was special because we had a beautiful guess from Netherland, her name is Lisane and she became one of the judges. In the main show, we performed our best remake story of Aladdin, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Romeo and Juliet into musical drama. We used our creativity to entertain the audiences; we turned the stories into comedy with some dancing scenes since there should be a music scene. But we all enjoyed the event, we had so much fun. Every group surprisingly well performed with their own version of those themes.

In that special occasion, I and other female members agreed to write love letters especially for Pak Bugel; he is one of the Jogja English staffs with a multi talents and capabilities, he is like a fairy godfather for us. On that night after we all had finished our performances, the MC announced the winners for musical drama and also love letter competition. Again, Male Home Manggis won the competition and surprisingly TOEFL Preparation class who joined the EPS for the first time in the history of EPS won the drama musical as the runner-up. For the love letter competition, Novita, an AP+ member, and I won this competition. Another award was given for Member of the Month which was handed home by Hanan Waskitha. Awarded as a winner was beyond my expectation, but fortunately it was also perfect time to give Pak Bugel a small gift which Female Home members had prepared. We prepared that gift for him because of his sincerity and his kindness to us. We gave it in the moment full of joy, the moment to spread our love.
